Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between IqraaMind and the parents, adult students, and teachers who use iqraamind.com and classes.iqraamind.com.

Who can use IqraaMind

• Adults 18 and older can book classes for themselves.
• Parents or legal guardians book for any student under 18. The parent is responsible for the booking and for payment.
• Children never book by themselves. Children under 13 join only after a parent gives consent, as our Privacy Policy explains.

Teachers sign in with a link sent to their email. Families reach their classes through the private link in their booking email. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can open it can use these links.

Classes and teachers

Every class is live and one-on-one, held in the IqraaMind classroom in your browser.

Children under 13 take a short reading check before the first class, so the teacher knows where to start. Students 13 to 17 may take it if they wish.

Class times are shown in your own time zone. Our teachers often live abroad, so a time that suits you may be late at night for them. We may need to move a class if a teacher is unavailable. We will tell you as early as we can and offer another time or a credit.

Billing, cancelling and missed classes

You pay monthly for the weekly classes you book. Stripe charges your card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay on the same date each month.

• Price: [$20] per class. One class a week costs about [$80] a month. The exact amount shows before you pay.
• Cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next charge. Classes already paid for stay on your schedule until the month ends.
• Moving one class: give at least [24] hours' notice and we move it at no cost.
• Missed without notice: the class counts as taught, and the teacher is still paid.
• Teacher misses a class: you get a make-up class or a credit on your next month.
• Refunds: if you are unhappy after your first class, write to us within [7] days for a full refund of that month.

If a payment fails, we email you and try again. Classes pause after [7] days without payment.

Class conduct and child safety

• Students under 18 keep their camera on during class. Adults may turn theirs off.
• A parent or another adult should be nearby during a child's class.
• Classes are never recorded, by us or by you. Please do not record, screenshot, or share a class.
• Teachers and students contact each other only through IqraaMind, never by personal phone or social media.
• Everyone treats each other and the Mushaf (Quran) with respect.

We may pause or close an account that breaks these rules or puts a child at risk. Report any concern to [safety@iqraamind.com].

Teachers

Teachers are independent contractors, not employees of IqraaMind. A separate teacher agreement covers the details.

• Pay: the teacher receives 70% of each class price and IqraaMind keeps 30% for the non-profit. At [$20] per class, that is [$14] to the teacher. IqraaMind pays the card fees.
• When: teachers are paid once a month, by the [10th], for the classes taught the month before.
• How: the teacher picks Wise, Payoneer, PayPal, Stripe Connect, or bank transfer, and links it in the teacher portal. Payouts then run automatically each month. Any fee charged by that service is [paid by IqraaMind / shared, to decide].
• Taxes: each teacher handles the taxes of their own country.
• Hours: teachers set their weekly hours in the portal. Changes go through a request to the admin.

Content, liability and changes

Our content. IqraaMind lesson materials, drawings, and books belong to IqraaMind. You may use them for your own learning, not for resale. Quran text is shown in the Uthmani script from trusted sources. If you see an error, use the Report button and we will check it.

Liability. We work hard to keep classes running, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the last [3] months.

Disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of [State]. We will first try to resolve any problem by talking with you directly.

Changes. If we change these terms, we post the new version here and email you before it takes effect. Continuing to book classes means you accept the new terms.
